Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026 · Governed by the laws of England and Wales
About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website at mirkovonhein.com ("the Site") and any services, bookings, or engagements arranged through it. By accessing the Site or engaging any of the services described here, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, sponsors, and any other persons who access or use the Site or its associated services. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we handle your personal data.

Services
This Site facilitates three categories of service:
- Cost-effectiveness modelling and decision-analytical modelling — building and adapting global health economic models for pharmaceutical companies and HEOR organisations.
- HEOR and market access consulting — advisory, analytical, and strategic consulting for pharmaceutical companies operating primarily in UK/Ireland and German markets.
- Sponsorship and advertising — B2B sponsorship packages for pharma-adjacent companies seeking to reach health economics and market access audiences via YouTube, podcast, newsletter, and LinkedIn.
Initial contact for consulting and modelling services is made through the enquiry form at mirkovonhein.com/contact or by booking a free Discovery Call. All project work is subject to a separate written engagement letter or statement of work, which takes precedence over these Terms in the event of any conflict.
Bookings & Cancellation Policy
Two booking types are available through our TidyCal scheduling platform:
- Free Discovery Call (30 minutes) — a no-obligation scoping conversation. Cancellation or rescheduling at any time is welcome with no penalty.
- Expert Advisory Session (60 minutes, £750) — a paid, focused advisory session. Payment is processed at the time of booking via Stripe.
The following cancellation terms apply to the Expert Advisory Session:
Cancellation 48 hours or more before the scheduled session: Full refund, no questions asked.
Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled session: No cash refund. One complimentary reschedule will be offered, valid for 90 days from the original booking date.
No-show: No refund and no reschedule credit.
To cancel or reschedule, please use the link in your booking confirmation email or contact us directly at [email protected].
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed Expert Advisory Session, we will provide a full refund and endeavour to offer an alternative date at short notice.
Course & Digital Product Purchases
This section applies when you buy an online course or other digital product from us (for example, the HEOR Fundamentals course), as distinct from the advisory bookings in section 4 and the project work in section 6.
Prices, VAT and invoicing. Course prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of VAT. Where VAT applies, it is calculated and added at checkout according to your location; business customers in the EU may enter a valid VAT number where reverse-charge applies. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, and a VAT invoice is issued automatically on payment.
Your right to cancel (consumers). If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, running from the day after your purchase. Where you ask us to begin supplying digital course content or access within that 14-day period, you agree that you lose the right to cancel once access has begun — you confirm this at checkout. Business customers are not covered by these consumer cancellation rights.
Product-specific terms. Individual courses may have their own terms and refund policy, which apply in addition to this section. In particular, the HEOR Fundamentals course is governed by its HEOR Fundamentals Terms & Refund Policy. Where a course's specific terms conflict with this section, the course-specific terms apply for that course.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected: digital content must be as described and of satisfactory quality, and you keep the remedies the law provides if it is faulty or not as described.
Consulting Engagements
All project-based consulting and modelling work is governed by a separate written engagement letter or statement of work ("SOW") agreed between the parties prior to commencement. That document will set out the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, fees, payment terms, and any other project-specific terms.
In the absence of a signed SOW, no project work will commence. Submission of an enquiry form or booking a Discovery Call does not constitute a contractual obligation on either party.
Standard payment terms for project work are:
- Invoices are issued in British pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise agreed.
- Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date unless the SOW specifies otherwise.
- We reserve the right to suspend work on outstanding deliverables where invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed payment terms.
All intellectual property in deliverables created for a client will transfer to the client upon receipt of full payment, unless the SOW specifies a different arrangement.
Sponsorship & Advertising
Sponsorship and advertising engagements are governed by a separate written sponsorship agreement, which will specify deliverables, timelines, fees, content approval processes, and any platform-specific requirements.
The following applies to all sponsorship arrangements:
- All sponsored content will be clearly labelled as such in accordance with ASA guidelines and platform policies (YouTube, LinkedIn, podcast platforms).
- We retain full editorial independence. Sponsors may review sponsored content prior to publication and request factual corrections, but may not direct or alter editorial opinion.
- Sponsorship does not imply endorsement of a product beyond the scope of the content delivered.
- Payment is due in advance of content production unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Rates and package details are available on the Services page. All engagements are subject to our capacity and editorial fit assessment.
