WTP

The willingness-to-pay (WTP) threshold is the maximum cost per QALY a healthcare system will accept for a new treatment — the benchmark against which the ICER is compared to determine cost-effectiveness. In England, NICE applies a base threshold of approximately £20,000–£30,000 per QALY.
