AMNOG

A German law requiring pharmaceutical companies to prove the added benefit of new drugs before reimbursement negotiations with statutory health insurers can take place. The Arzneimittelmarktneuordnungsgesetz (AMNOG) was enacted in January 2011. It mandates a benefit dossier submission to the G-BA demonstrating additional clinical benefit (Zusatznutzen) versus an appropriate comparator.
